Why It Matters

Women’s health research
has a gap problem.

For decades, the majority of clinical and medical research was conducted predominantly on male subjects. The findings were applied universally. The gaps this created in diagnosis times, treatment protocols, and understanding of female-specific conditions are documented, measurable, and ongoing.

Women wait years longer for diagnoses. They are more frequently dismissed in clinical settings. They are underrepresented in the trials that shape treatment guidelines. The evidence that should inform their care is often missing, misapplied, or inaccessible.

ELLVERIS exists to translate the research that does exist, to name the gaps that do not, and to support the development of the evidence base that the next generation of women’s health science requires.

Awareness GapOf women are unaware of how hormonal variation affects their cognitive performance, skin, mood, and physical capacity across the menstrual cycle.

Pillars of EvidenceELLVERIS builds its research program across all four pillars: Beauty, Health, Career, and Mind, because the evidence gaps span all of them.
